Culinary Abbreviations

Having a Culinary background leads to the abbreviations of various food related items. Here are some of them.

S&P---Salt and Pepper
tt---to taste
Tbls---Tablespoon
tsp---teaspoon
mirepoix---mixture of carrots, onion and celery
sachet---cheescloth bundle filled with garlic, cracked black peppercorns, parsley stems and dried thyme
opt---optional
